FCA Vice-president

bio-scrantonDr. Scranton had a life changing chiropractic experience while living in Chicago.  During a volleyball tournament Dr. Scranton injured his shoulder and was unable to raise it.  For two and one half years life consisted of lots of doctors and drugs and  physical therapy with no results and no improvement until he was finally referred to a chiropractor, who removed the nerve interference which had been damaging his nervous system. This led to a complete healing and full recovery.  This experience prompted him to leave his job as a financial analyst and change careers to become a chiropractor with the goal of helping as many people as possible the way he had been helped.

Dr. Scranton graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1999 and went on to complete the course in the  Gonstead Advanced Technique Seminar Series.  This included over 100 hours of postgraduate instruction in the Gonstead Chiropractic system.  This very specific technique is used to treat the most severe cases in the office.  Dr. Scranton is also a member of the Gonstead Clinical Studies Society and the Illinois Prairie State Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Scranton’s passion for taking on and caring for the most severe patient cases, even those turned away by other doctors, as well as his compassion for those suffering from Fibromyalgia have helped take him to the upper echelons in his field.

Now Dr. Scranton is serving as Vice-President of the Fibromyalgia Centers of America (FCA), that trains other doctors to successfully treat Fibromyalgia.  Dr. Scranton’s goal is to successfully treat as many fibromyalgia patients as possible in his office and by extension in training other doctors to do likewise.  There is hope out there, and it is on it’s way.
